Peter Wright has admitted that he regrets changing his darts during the first half of the season.
The world number five has altered his setup on numerous occasions since reaching the World Championship final in January, but after returning to his original arrows, the Scottish thrower believes that an extended run in a major tournament is just around the corner.
The 44-year-old told the Daily Record: "The form is coming back and I'm looking forward to the rest of the year. I've chopped and changed quite a bit but now I'm back using the darts which got me to the World Championship Final.
"I picked them up on the way home from Germany and that's it for me. No more changing. Perhaps if I'd stuck with them, I'd have had better results.
"There are massive events coming up and I'm going to be firing on all cylinders again. I feel a run of good form coming on."
Wright will compete in five major tournaments, including the Grand Slam of Darts and the World Championship, before the end of the 2014 season.
