Top seed Michael van Gerwen has scooped top prize at the Players Championship Finals after coming from behind to beat defending champion Phil Taylor 11-7.
'The Power', who was aiming to win his sixth consecutive TV tournament, raced into a 6-3 lead in Sunday night's best-of-21 showpiece in Minehead.
However, Van Gerwen produced a stunning comeback, reeling off seven consecutive legs before eventually sealing a sensational victory.
The Dutchman, who recorded a three-dart average of 102.45, was rewarded with £60,000 for his triumph, while 16-time world champion Taylor had to settle for the runner-up's prize of £24,000.
Van Gerwen had defeated Jamie Lewis, Adrian Lewis, Wes Newton and Andy Hamilton earlier in the tournament.
Meanwhile, Taylor's route to the final saw him dismiss Paul Nicholson, Peter Wright, Raymond van Barneveld and Justin Pipe.
