Raymond van Barneveld has booked his place in the second round of the World Championship with a 3-0 win over Dirk van Duijvenbode.
The five-time world champion was pushed by his Dutch compatriot during the opening two sets before he coasted through the closing stages to move through to a second-round showdown with Stephen Bunting.
The former Lakeside winner also won through by a 3-0 scoreline after dispatching of German thrower Jyhan Artut.
The shock of the tournament almost took place in the final match on Sunday night as Russian Aleksandr Oreshkin checked out 134 to open up a 2-0 lead against Mervyn King.
However, the world number 14 scored consistently throughout the match and that proved enough for him to eventually run out a 3-2 winner.
