Ninth seed Ian White has been knocked out of the World Championship after suffering a 3-1 defeat to Dimitri Van den Bergh.
White had been hoping to avoid becoming the sixth seed to exit the tournament in the opening three days, but despite the Stoke-on-Trent thrower taking the opening set, he could not withstand an impressive comeback from the young Belgian.
Steve Beaton endured no such problems against Koha Kokiri, although he had to produce a strong performance to see off the New Zealander by a 3-0 scoreline.
Former finalist Kevin Painter made it safely through to the last 32 with a 3-0 triumph against Kim Viljanen, who had earlier come through his preliminary-round contest.
