English diver Sarah Barrow tells Sports Mole that she is certain she and fellow 25-year-old Tonia Couch will be competing at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

Team England diver Sarah Barrow has said that she does want to compete at the next Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

The 25-year-old took part in her last event of the Commonwealth Games this evening, finishing ninth in the individual 10m platform final after yesterday winning silver in the 10m synchro with long-time partner Tonia Couch.

Although she and Couch, also 25, were competing alongside the youngest member of England's team at the Games tonight - 13-year-old Victoria Vincent - Barrow insisted that they had plenty of years of competition left in them, even with a recurring leg injury.

She told Sports Mole: "I wouldn't say 25 is old. I'd say 30 is old, for diving. But yeah, Rio is definitely in the pipeline for sure.

"There's two years now until Rio - we've just done two years since 2012 and I don't feel much different. Obviously the problem with my leg, that will hopefully just go, but yeah, Rio's definitely the target."

At the last Olympics in London, Barrow and Couch finished fifth in the 10m synchro final.
