A botched final dive has seen Jack Laugher and Chris Mears surrender gold to finish fourth at the Diving World Cup in Rio de Janeiro.
The GB pair had been on course to top the podium in the 3m synchro event until their final-round dive, the 4-and-a-half somersault, scored a disappointing 54.72.
Germany's Stephan Feck and Patrick Hausding capitalised on the advantage, scoring 87.72 for their forward 2-1/2 somersault with 2 twists to claim gold with a final score of 429.33.
Cao Yuan and Qin Kai of China had to settle for silver with 419.67, while third place went to Mexico's Jahir Ocampo and Rommel Pacheco with 409.38.
