Team GB's Grace Reid has qualified for the semi-finals of the women's 3m springboard event at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
The 20-year-old - bronze winner at this year's European Championships - finished 14th overall in the preliminaries with a total score of 304.95.
Team GB's other competitor in the event, veteran Rebecca Gallantree, posted a disappointing score of 286.65 to finish 20th overall, earning a spot as second reserve should any of the top 18 need to pull out.
Canada's Jennifer Abel pulled off the surprise of the preliminaries session to top the leaderboard ahead of the favourites - Chinese duo Shi Tingmao and He Zi - with a score of 373.00, including a 77.50 for her forward 3-1/2.
Other competitors safely through included Abel's synchro partner Pamela Ware (7th, 329.10), Italy's Tania Cognotto (4th, 347.30) and Aussie duo Esther Qin (5th, 347.25) and Maddison Keeney (9th, 323.35).
The semi-finals take place tomorrow (Saturday), with the final following on Sunday.
