Eurosport has launched seven new channels today ahead of the broadcaster's comprehensive coverage of the Olympic Games.
The pop-up channels - available via Sky, Virgin Media and BT TV - will be dedicated destinations for fans of a particular sport, with specific channels earmarked for the likes of football, tennis and basketball.
Tokyo 2020 is the first Olympics where Eurosport owners Discovery has the overall broadcast rights in the UK, with the BBC sub-licensing rights for broadcast on BBC One, BBC Two and a single red button stream.
In addition to coverage on Eurosport 1, Eurosport 2 and the seven pop-up channels, additional live streams will be made available through the discovery+ streaming service for the first time.
After a delay of a year due to coronavirus, the Olympics officially begin on Friday with the opening ceremony, although the action in some sports such as football and softball begins tomorrow.
Eurosport 3 to Eurosport 9 can be found on Sky channels 983 to 989, BT channels 401 to 407 and Virgin channels 537 to 543.
