Upstart news channel GB News has apologised to viewers for the ongoing technical issues during its first week on air.
The new station - headed up by veteran journalist Andrew Neil - launched on Sunday night and has made a solid start in the ratings, holding its own with Sky News on its first full day on air.
The channel continues to be plagued by multiple glitches, however, from volatile sound levels to miscues of onscreen graphics and guest connections dropping out.
In a post on Twitter this morning, the channel said: "Our team has been working hard to get our audio right. We've made a number of improvements to the sound overnight - let us know if it's made a difference in your home. We're small, new and building as we go.
"We've also made improvements to our set and our lighting - hope you notice the difference. Keep the feedback coming and we'll improve as we go!"
Tonight the channel will air its first major exclusive interview as chancellor Rishi Sunak sits down with Neil during his 8pm show.
