Isabel Oakeshott to host political show on GB News
Journalist and author Isabel Oakeshott is to host a new political show on GB News.

Political journalist and author Isabel Oakeshott has joined GB News, the broadcaster has announced.

The fledgling channel is tweaking its schedule next week, introducing a new sports show, a new business show and three weekday political programmes.

Oakeshott - author of the controversial David Cameron biography Call Me Dave - will host politics programme The Briefing: PM on Friday afternoons.

Confirming the news on Twitter, she wrote: "I'm really excited to announce I'm joining GB News - my new show coming soon...."

Oakeshott has already been serving as a regular contributor across GB News programming since the channel launched in June.
