Sky Sports is reportedly close to clinching a new deal with the ECB that will keep top-level cricket with the broadcaster until 2034.

The agreement will ensure that Sky remains the UK home of the majority of England's international matches, as well as the county championship, the T20 Blast and new format The Hundred.

According to The Times, outgoing ECB chief executive Tom Harrison is keen to have the deal wrapped up before he leaves the board in the next few months.

The current deal was signed in 2017 and is thought to be worth around £220 million a year, a figure that is expected to remain at the same level across the bumper new 10-year deal, which would kick in from 2024.

Sky will continue to share some cricket rights with the BBC, including four T20 internationals a year and at least 10 matches from The Hundred. body check tags ::
