New news channel TalkTV has begun test broadcasts on satellite ahead of its launch in the coming months.
The station - from Rupert Murdoch's News UK - will offer a lineup of debate and discussion programmes alongside news bulletins and weather reports.
The headline presenter is Piers Morgan, who will host the flagship weekday evening programme, while content and other hosts will be drawn from across the News UK stable, which includes The Sun, The Times, talkRADIO and Times Radio.
An exact launch date for the channel has yet to be announced, although News UK has now started testing its broadcast signal off the Sky EPG.
At the moment, the test transmission comprises the studio vision feed of talkRADIO's output, which is already streamed online and through select smart TVs.
talkRADIO TV is not expected to make a full launch on Sky, however, and the feed will likely be replaced by TalkTV promotional videos as the launch date approaches.
