Dee-Dee and Nina are shocked when the nurse confirms that Roy was visited by a young girl with blonde hair. Later, Dee-Dee informs Bethany and Joel that the police are checking the CCTV to determine whether it was Lauren.
Roy's delighted that Lauren is alive but Nina's angry that she left it this late to help clear his name, while Bethany deduces that it must have been Lauren who was using her credit card.
Carla spots the yobs who previously hassled Roy and gives them a piece of her mind, but as she gets back into her car, one of the yobs cycles into her door and gets knocked off his bike.
Also: Kit tries to get info on Craig from Kirk, Leanne pressures Amy to join the Institute and Nick takes Toyah to her hospital appointment.

Joel tells Dee-Dee that he's booked the wedding for September 27, but when he gets a text from Betsy demanding more money, he hurries out claiming that he's off to work. Dee-Dee and Bethany go through her credit card statements for clues and find a number of transactions in Warrington, prompting Dee-Dee to suggest that they check out soup kitchens in that area. There, they meet a homeless woman who tells them that Lauren is squatting in a pub called The Red Lion.
Carla visits Lisa to tell her how little work Betsy is doing, but the conversation comes to an end when Betsy calls to say that she is stuck in a rough part of town. Later, Betsy spots Beth letting herself into the factory and follows her - what is Beth up to?
Nina fusses over Roy now that he's back home and suggests that he visit Scarborough for a few days to spend time with Cathy.
While Leanne keeps up the pressure on Amy, Rowan suggests to Leanne that she could invest 40 grand into the business..

At the Bistro, Rowan piles pressure on Nick to invest in the new resource centre, threatening to spill about his encounter with Toyah. Meanwhile, Toyah finds Rowan's driving licence in his jacket pocket and does a reverse image search on his photo - will she find anything?
Also: Betsy demands to be cut in to Beth's counterfeit T-shirts scam, while Bernie offers to put the kids up at hers.
