Carla returns from her business trip to Spain empty-handed and still frosty with Peter. Later, she's fuming to find out that Sarah has reappointed Michael, who has been working on some new designs - but when a potential new client arrives, she orders Michael to fetch his portfolio. Meanwhile, Ken confides to Carla that he worries Peter may be drinking again.

Dylan, Mason, Conch and Leyla break into the Rovers and start planning their party while downing drinks and enjoying the jukebox. Dylan's embarrassed when Mason bets Conch 20 quid that Dylan will get off with Leyla, but in the back room Dylan and Leyla do start kissing - and decide to head upstairs. Outside, George and Sean hear the music coming from the pub...

Also: Crystal gets in touch with Ryan and suggests they go for a drink, Izzy gives Paul some advice over his PIP assessment and Stu has a dilemma when his PI gets in touch.

After learning that Paul's financial support will take 11 weeks to come through, Bernie gets in touch with Big Garth and tells him to flog the gear at a reduced price. Later, Bernie accepts a wad of cash from Big Garth, unaware that police are discreetly taking photos - and before too long, she's arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods.

When Dylan refuses to give Mason £20 for the bet, Mason throws his newspapers into a puddle - and later, Sean's fuming to learn that Dylan's been fired.

Carla and Sarah realise that they can't pay the workers unless they delay until tomorrow, when they can get cash on delivery for the order. Carla lies to her staff and insists they will get paid by the end of the day, but when her lie is exposed, they all go on strike. She comes clean and tells them that unless they get this order out, the factory will go under.

Ryan reveals that he's seeing Crystal again later. Carla warns him that she's trouble, but Peter's glad as it may keep Ryan out of Daisy and Daniel's relationship.

Also: A worried Gemma takes Joseph to A&E when he complains about having a headache.

Summer helps Amy out at the drop-in she's organised for the counselling charity. When a girl arrives and takes a flyer but then quickly leaves, Amy's angry with herself that she could have potentially helped her.

Chesney's furious to discover that Gemma ignored his advice and kept Joseph off school.

Billy learns from the bishop that he can come back to work, but his good news is short-lived as at the hospital, Paul learns from the MND nurse that he has only 6 to 12 months to live.

Also: Peter's touched when Carla ditches work to join him at his AA meeting, while Bernie tells Abi that she blames herself for what's happened to Paul.
