Monday, October 14 (Episodes 11387 and 11388)

David's shocked when an estate agent puts up a 'for sale' sign at No. 8. Meanwhile, Jesse tells David that he's rented a flat in Oakhill but is expecting a financial windfall soon...

On a riverbank, a group of lads spot a body floating in the water - it's Joel. Kit informs Dee-Dee and Lauren that Joel is dead, while Lisa reveals the news in the Rovers. After a post-mortem reveals that Joel was dead before he hit the water, Kit opens a murder investigation and starts by quizzing Lauren about her movements on the night of September 27.

Nick learns that Rowan has pleaded not guilty to fraud and blackmail so the case will be going to trial. Later, when Sam sees Nick and a female customer getting on well he informs her that Nick is engaged and warns her off.

Stu informs Yasmeen that he's contemplating moving to Germany to be with Eliza - how will she take the news?

Also: Daisy tries to make Bethany reconsider her stance on Daniel, Sarah accuses Adam of stealing Damon's money from the lock-up and Hope develops a chest infection as a result of her vaping.

This hour-long episode airs Monday, October 14 at 8pm on ITV1 and from 7am on ITVX


Wednesday, October 16 (Episodes 11389 and 11390)

Determined to get Nick and Leanne back together, Sam prepares a romantic meal for them at the flat but injures himself with a knife while shucking oysters. He calls on Asha, who tells him that he will need stitches and whisks him to the hospital.

Kit tells Lisa that Joel died from two blow the heads, most likely from a crowbar - and later, she's shocked when Yasmeen tells her that she threw Mason out because they found him hiding a crowbar. Lisa tells an intrigued Betsy to steer well clear of Mason.

Having been warned by Betsy that the police are on to him, Mason tries to dispose of the crowbar in a bin behind the factory but is caught in the act by Kit.

Also: Sarah becomes convinced that Jesse stole Damon's money, Gemma overly worries about Joseph going on a school skiing trip and Lauren learns that Frankie is now well enough to be discharged in a few weeks.

This hour-long episode airs Wednesday, October 16 at 8pm on ITV1 and from 7am on ITVX


Friday, October 18 (Episodes 11391 and 11392)

Ronnie cottons on to Debbie's plan to throw him a surprise 55th birthday party.

Kit arrives to question the Bailey brothers about the night of Joel's murder. Ronnie insists that he was home alone, while Ed claims to have been home with Dee-Dee and Michael.

A comment from Michael at the party makes Debbie realise that Ronnie lied to her about going to Joel's flat. Will she pursue it further?

Leanne tells Toyah that they should move out of the apartment to give Nick and Sam some space. But when she reveals that she has rented the salon flat but wants to live alone, how will Toyah take the news?

Bobby's confused when he finds Max and Lauren in the Rovers and they make a hasty exit.

Jesse takes Nick, Sarah and David for lunch in the Rovers in an attempt to get to know them better but Sarah remains unconvinced and follows him to Victoria Gardens. Is Jesse hiding something?

Also: Jenny gently suggests to Chesney that Gemma should return to work but he's adamant that it's too soon after Paul's death.

This hour-long episode airs Friday, October 18 at 8pm on ITV1 and from 7am on ITVX
