Bethany prepares breakfast for Daniel but when he arrives without knocking, he sees her stoma bag for the first time and she yells at him to get out.
At the hospital, David snaps when Jesse starts quizzing him on his feelings of guilt - and when Shona mentions that Jesse has gone back to the house, David panics. Meanwhile, Damon informs Sarah that he's managed to blame one of Harvey's associates for the money being stolen, leaving them in the clear.
An unconvinced Kit listens in as Dee-Dee tells Gus that she went to Joel's funeral because she believes in forgiveness.
Toyah calls round and manages to make things up with Sam, leaving Nick impressed. Later, Nick admits to Toyah that he still loves her and they lean in for a kiss...
Also: Ken and Cassie go shopping for holiday clothes ahead of their trip to Porto.

Leanne suggests to Nick that he hire someone to be the Bistro's new front of house as she can't face it any more after what happened with the Institute. Nick offers Toyah the job, reasoning that it would help Leanne get used to seeing them together.
Lisa investigates a case involving a vandalised car, which had been hit by a red car, and realises that it was the same road and the same night of Joel's attack. Having learned that Ronnie has a red car which went in for repair at that time, she confronts him at The Rovers. Later, Carla praises Lisa's work ethic but when she puts a comforting hand on her, Lisa flinches and leaves.
Bernie and Billy continue to argue over her plans to send Paul's ashes into space as he refuses to hand over his share. Meanwhile, Chesney's left outraged when Dev informs him that he won't be paid for the month that Prima Doner is closed as he's on a zero-hours contract.
Steve makes disparaging remarks when Cassie reveals that she has a date, but after it fails to go to plan he comes to the rescue and takes her to The Rovers...
Also: The Platts are stunned by an announcement from Jesse.

Ryan meets Kit for a beer and admits that although he was right to dump Daisy, he still misses her. Kit makes mental notes on what Daisy wants from a partner and later uses it to his advantage, claiming to Daisy that he's addicted to Real Housewives.
Betsy walks in on her mum in the bathroom and is shocked to see her bruises but doesn't believe Lisa's story that it was the result of a body combat class. Later, Betsy's left shaken when Daisy mentions that Joel got into a fight on the night of his attack. Meanwhile, Ryan questions Carla if she's been honest about her own movements on that fateful night but she insists that she only nipped out to turn off the factory lights.
Also: Adam's disturbed to learn that Ken has paid for first-class flights and lounge access for his trip with Cassie to Porto.

Kit's annoyed at Lisa's interference when she points out that if Joel was planning to go on the run then he would have had personal items on him - and if they can track those down, they may have found their killer.
Mason pulls Liam to safety when he unwittingly steps out in front of Chesney's car. Mason apologises to Liam for bullying him and insists that he's a changed person, but when Dev spots the exchange and tells Gary, Gary decides to take matters into his own hands.
Also: Kit learns from Ryan that Daisy's favourite film is The Holiday and suggests to her that they watch it together. But when Ryan finds out about Kit's duplicity, he decides to confront him...
