Daniel tells Sarah and that he's had a call informing him that Bethany is in intensive care and they need to get to Turkey straight away.

Daniel and Sarah learn that not only is Bethany's infection severe, she can't leave Turkey until her medical bills are settled. When Bethany comes round, Sarah breaks some life-changing news to her.

Betsy, Dylan and Liam discuss Mason's release and when the man himself arrives, it's not too long before Gary's on the scene to confront him. Stu manages to pull Gary off Mason then apologises to the teen for not believing him and offers him his job back.

At the Bistro, Fiz and Tyrone prepare to celebrate her 40th birthday when they are interrupted by a text from the school informing them about Hope's vaping.

Also: Lauren tells Dee-Dee that on the tracker app she can see that Joel has been spending a lot of time in a field and has also sent her 5 grand without explanation. Elsewhere, Bernie and Gemma hope that Kit can pull some strings to get the road closed off for Paul's rave.

On what would have been his and Dee-Dee's wedding day, Joel writes a letter before getting drunk. Stumbling into the café while clutching a bottle of whisky, Joel finds Roy alone and locks the door behind himself...

Also: Mason sneakily sleeps over at Speed Daal, while Hope ignores her parents' warnings and steals some vapes from the corner shop.
