Sally Dynevor has reportedly penned a new 12-month deal keeping her on Coronation Street into 2023.
The 58-year-old, who plays Sally Metcalfe, has just celebrated 36 years on the soap and has appeared in more than 3,500 episodes in that time.
A source told The Sun: "The executives are over the moon to land Sally for another year - she's got loads of exciting storylines coming up and is a real fan favourite.
"She's one of Corrie's greatest stars and it is excellent news she's on board again. Corrie wouldn't be the same without her."
Dynevor is also a current competitor on ITV's Dancing On Ice.
