Former Coronation Street actress Faye Brookes has reportedly joined the lineup for the next series of Dancing On Ice.
The 33-year-old played Kate Connor on the ITV soap for four years but left last Autumn when her character decided to go travelling around the Far East.
Brookes was previously linked with an appearance on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in 2018 but pulled out amid marriage troubles with pop singer Gareth Gates, from whom she has since split.
According to The Sun, Brookes has now committed to DOI and will shortly begin rehearsals ahead of the show's start in January.
"Faye will bring the glamour to the ice and DOI bosses are over the moon she's chosen to put her skates on this year," a source told the newspaper.
"With her top class acting skills she's sure to impress the judges in the performance stakes."
Other celebs said to have signed up include Denise van Outen, Jason Donovan and Rebekah Vardy.
