Holly Willoughby is said to be still undecided on whether she will return as host of Dancing On Ice.
The annual celeb skating contest is due to return to ITV as usual in January - and the 12 celebrities taking part have already been revealed.
The show was already in need of a new co-host for Willoughby following Phillip Schofield's dismissal from ITV earlier this year, but her own future was cast into doubt after she quit This Morning in the wake of a kidnap-and-murder threat.
Stephen Mulhern has been in talks about a presenting role on the show for some time, but The Sun says that with weeks to go before the launch, neither he nor Willoughby has officially signed up.
A source told the newspaper: "In many ways the producers of Dancing On Ice are in limbo until they can resolve the issue of who'll be steering the ship when the show returns.
"Although it usually doesn't start until mid-January, bosses still now find themselves working on a timescale measured in weeks, not months.
"It's a very precarious position to be in when they have all the crew and a group of celebrities already working towards the first show, but nobody nailed on to present it."
Among the celebs taking part in 2024 are Olympic champ Greg Rutherford, Made In Chelsea's Miles Nazaire, actress Claire Sweeney and S Club 7's Hannah Spearritt. body check tags ::
