Monday, December 4 (Episode 6813)

Mitch is unimpressed when Karen splashes the cash in the pub, making Phil suspicious.

Mitch confronts Keanu about the kidnap plot but he shows little remorse. Later, Mitch's van hits Harvey's cab and Kat insists that Mitch stump up for the damage.

Karen settles the debt with Kat and when Phil sees the notes she paid with, he notices that they're his marked bills. He sets Sam on the case to find concrete proof of his theory and soon gets the evidence he needs to prove that Albie's kidnap was staged.

Jack's on babysitting duties but is a bit rusty and ends up calling Stacey for help. Denise arrives back from holiday early but before Jack gets the chance to tell her about Sam staying with them, Sam bursts in.

Elaine pulls out all of the stops to make The Vic's sponsored Christmas event in the Square a big success.

Also: Sonia tells Reiss that they are on track with their IVF treatment.

Phil's determined to prove that he's right about Keanu and Karen, and starts by visiting The Arches but gets no joy.

Later, Phil sends Tommy around to 23B and he finds the cash hidden under Karen's bed.

Sharon announces that the wedding reception will be held at The Vic on Christmas Day but the good news is interrupted by the arrival of Phil, who shocks her by telling her that Keanu and Karen staged Albie's kidnapping.

Denise and Jack fall out again when she discovers that Dean's back and he didn't tell her. Later, she gives Jack an ultimatum - either Sam leaves or she does.

Also: Yolande fails to garner much interest for her new community choir.

Also: Sonia and Reiss's plans for a romantic night in are cut short when Reiss gets a call informing him that Debbie has a bad infection.
