Kim and Will worry how to respond when Dawn suggests that they hire a private investigator to track down Rose. Meanwhile, Caleb takes a confused Rose to a mysterious depot and gets out of the car - what is he planning?

Samson finally summons the courage to stand up to Josh but it ends up with Samson being arrested for assault. Moira seemingly watches on with pleasure as he is taken away... did she have anything to do with it?

Also: Under pressure from Brenda, Pollard offers Victoria a job in the shop but stops short of telling her the real reason she was fired from The Hide.

Rodney's pleased to be off driving for the haulage firm but when one of his deliveries is missing items, Jimmy's quick to point the finger at him.

Victoria offers to give Pollard a lift to the funeral but when they arrive at the church, she puts her foot in it with a bereaved son. She's left stunned, however, when the man introduces himself as John Sugden - and an awkward Pollard confirms that John could be her father's son.

Mack receives a call for a nearby breakdown and when he returns, Victoria's made up to bump into John again.

Also: Desperate to resolve her issues without involving Paddy, Mandy considers becoming a financial dominatrix.
