Steph reveals that she was in contact with Helen before she died, then berates Ruby for her dysfunctional childhood. Pushed over the edge, Ruby slaps her daughter.
Also: Caleb makes Jai a job offer in order to appease Steph, but Jai throws it back in his face.

Caleb and Ruby are shocked to see Steph leaving the B&B with Ross. Steph reluctantly agrees to go for a coffee with her mother and just as it looks as if relations are thawing, Ruby's dad Anthony Fox shows up at the cafe. Ruby realises that it was a set-up on Steph's part and as he tries to plead his case, she storms out.
Caleb insists on having a word with Anthony himself and after a heated conversation, Caleb finds himself struck by Anthony's sincerity and agrees to give Ruby a mysterious box. What's inside and will she even want to listen to what her father has to say?
Also: Jai proposes a scheme to Ross to steal some of Caleb's stock, while Moira continues to prepare for the worst ahead of her operation.
