Emmerdale has confirmed the introduction of two new members of the Milligan family as Ruby's (Beth Cordingly) estranged father and daughter arrive in the village.
Steph, played by Giri/Haji's Georgia Jay, is described as "smart, confident and completely reckless" with "narcissistic need to win at all costs" who hasn't seen either of her parents in over a decade.
Meanwhile, Anthony - The Crown's Nicholas Day - reconnects with his daughter after more than 30 years following the recent death of her mother, with whom she had a fractious relationship. He is described as charismatic, having mellowed in his old age and someone who "seems like delightful company to the outside world".
"We're delighted to be welcoming Nicholas and Georgia to Emmerdale as part of the Miligan family," said Emmerdale producer Sophie Roper.
"With so much yet to discover about Ruby, the arrival of her father and daughter will unlock her past and see Ruby and Caleb tested in ways we've never seen before. With two actors of such great calibre, they're certainly set to make their mark on the Dales."
Day said: "I've been made so welcome in the Emmerdale family. And my screen family is great to work with, the scenes just fly. No kidding - I feel blessed."
Jay added: "I am thrilled to be joining the cast of Emmerdale. The cast and crew have all been so welcoming and I'm very excited to see what lies ahead for Steph, given her intriguing backstory."
The pair will be seen on screen for the first time later this month.
