ITV has signed a deal with UEFA to replace Channel 4 as the UK broadcaster of England's matches starting in September 2024.
The four-year deal will kick in after Euro 2024 in Germany next summer and covers qualifying for World Cup 2026, Euro 2028, the Nations League and all friendlies featuring the Three Lions.
Depending on the scheduling of future international windows, at least 40 matches are due to be broadcast under the deal - the equivalent of at least 10 per season.
Niall Sloane, ITV's director of sport, said: "We're delighted to bring the England men's team back to ITV, which keeps coverage of their progress between major tournaments on free to air television.
"We have an experienced team here who are looking forward to bringing viewers all the action and insight from England's qualification campaigns in the coming years."
ITV has already secured the joint rights for Euro 2024 and Euro 2028, while the World Cup's status as a 'crown jewel' event means that it too is highly likely to be broadcast by ITV for the foreseeable. body check tags ::
