A former beauty queen and a club promoter are the first two contestants "confirmed" for this year's Love Island.
The dating show returns to ITV2 on June 28 and although ITV has yet to formally announce the identities of the contestants, two of the cast have been named by the tabloids over the weekend.
The first is Sharon Gaffka, a 25-year-old lawyer who won the title of Miss International UK in 2018 and has also worked in the civil service, including on the launch of the NHS's much-derided 'Test and Trace' system.
The second contestant - identified by the Daily Mail - is Aaron Francis, a 24-year-old "ladies' man" who has worked as a club promoter and a menswear model.
"Aaron has no real claim to fame, he's just a normal guy," a source told the newspaper. "However, his job does mean he sometimes moves in glamorous circles and he gets lots of attention.
"Bosses think he'll be a real hit in the house with the girls and also get on with the guys."
ITV is expected to reveal the full contestant lineup for the show early this week. body check tags ::
