Harvey Armstrong has revealed that he has quit Made In Chelsea after five years in order to focus on his business.
The 30-year-old joined the long-running reality show in 2019 and was introduced to audiences as the ex-boyfriend of Sophie Habboo, who has since gone on to marry co-star Jamie Laing.
After a string of failed romances - including a messy breakup with fellow cast member Emily Blackwell - he has now decided to depart the show to go full-time with low-calorie beer brand Prime Time, which he co-owns with friend Sam Holmes.
"As much as I love Made In Chelsea and have had some amazing years, it has a shelf life, and the time has come for me to leave the show," he told the Daily Mail.
"There's a lot of emotional bandwidth that goes with filming your life for TV and it's a distraction and can be very draining. I have to clear my head.
"Being a businessman has always been my goal and building up my company, Prime Time has fully taken off and now needs my full attention.
"I can't be a CEO and founder with 12 staff members and have my love life play out on reality TV."
Made In Chelsea will return for a new series - set in the Maldives - later this spring.
