Release of new James Bond movie to be brought forward in UK?

No Time To Die, Daniel Craig's final outing as James Bond, could reportedly be released a week earlier than planned in the UK.

The news James Bond film No Time To Die could reportedly be released in the UK a week earlier than planned.

The movie - Daniel Craig's final outing as 007 - has been shifted multiple times due to production delays and the coronavirus pandemic - and is currently set for worldwide release on October 8, 2021.

The UK is having a remarkable rollout of its COVID-19 vaccine programme, having given more than 18.2 million adults a first dose so far, and as a result the government is hoping to lift almost all restrictions on social distancing by June 21.

Should the schedule be kept to, cinemas will be able to re-open over the summer and according to Tom Linay, an executive at a movie marketing firm, No Time To Die could now be moved to a September release.

Linay wrote on Twitter: "It looks like NO TIME TO DIE is now released on 30 September in the UK. #JamesBond."

Although production company Eon has yet to comment on the rumour, the Universal Pictures UK website now lists September 30 as the film's release date.
