Zendaya "very flattered" by Kill Bill 3 links

Zendaya responds to Vivica A Fox's suggestion that she should be cast in a leading role in Kill Bill: Volume 3.

Zendaya has responded to speculation linking her with a role in a potential third film in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill series.

Headed up by Uma Therman, the two original movies followed her character The Bride - a highly-trained assassin - as she exacted revenge on her former cohorts for attempting to murder her.

In the first film The Bride kills Vivica A Fox's character Copperhead in front of her four-year-old daughter Nikki, before inviting her to come find her to take her own revenge when she is of age.

For years it has been speculated that Nikki's revenge quest will be the central plotline of a third film, and Tarantino himself is rumoured to have filmed some additional scenes with the young Nikki in 2003 for inclusion in such a movie.

In a recent interview Fox was asked who she would like to play the grown-up version of her daughter and identified Spider-Man's Zendaya as the ideal candidate, urging Tarantino: "Cast Zendaya!"

"I saw that," Zendaya told Empire when asked about Fox's recommendation. "I was quite honoured that she would say that.

"Obviously she's incredible and I'm very flattered that she would think of me.

"But, you know, it's just an idea. The internet kinda takes things and runs with it."

Speaking late last year, Tarantino hinted that Kill Bill: Volume 3 could arrive as soon as 2022.
