Jeff Goldblum reveals 109-page coronavirus safety manual for Jurassic World

Jeff Goldblum reveals that there are "protocols galore" relating to coronavirus on the set of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

Jeff Goldblum has revealed that there are "protocols galore" on set of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom as he prepares for a return to filming.

Production on the sixth film in the Jurassic Park franchise was halted in March due to the coronavirus pandemic but Universal Studios has spent £4 million on enhanced health and safety measures in order to enable filming to resume at London's Pinewood Studios.

Goldblum is reprising his role as Dr Ian Malcolm for the new film, alongside fellow returnees Bryce Dallas Howard, Chris Pratt, Laura Dern and Sam Neill, and is due to fly into the UK later this month to shoot his scenes.

"There are protocols galore. We're going to be very safe, I think," he told ET.

"They gave us 109 pages. They invested all their heart and soul, and a lot of money, into making sure that we're safe.

"I won't bore you with the details, but we're all going to be quarantined in a kind of a bubble, all the crew and all the cast. And testing and everything...We know it's a risky time, but we feel it's good."

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is due for release next summer.
