Phillip Schofield denies This Morning exit

Phillip Schofield dismisses suggestions that he could be leaving This Morning to join the BBC.

Phillip Schofield has laughed off suggestions that he could be leaving This Morning in the near future.

A report last week indicated that the BBC is preparing a "multi-million pound offer" in order to tempt the seasoned presenter away from ITV.

The boss of the daytime show has also revealed that he is looking to hire a new black main presenter, fuelling speculation that Schofield or his long-term on-screen partner Holly Willoughby could quit.

Asked by a fan on Twitter whether the duo would be going their separate ways, Schofield replied "course not", followed by a 'crying with laughter' emoji.

Schofield has also seemingly confirmed that he will be returning as host of ITV gameshow The Cube for its new run this autumn.
