Shakira reveals that she has completed a course in ancient philosophy during the coronavirus lockdown.

Shakira has revealed that she has completed a course in ancient philosophy during the coronavirus lockdown.

The 43-year-old is currently isolating with partner Gerard Pique - centre-back for Barcelona - and their two sons but has made sure to use her spare time productively.

Posting a picture of her graduation certificate on Instagram, the 'She Wolf' singer wrote: "I just graduated from my 4 week Ancient Philosophy course with the University of Pennsylvania (@Penn). I know... my hobbies are very impractical, but it took a lot of hours after the kids were asleep.

"Thank you Plato and predecessors for all the 'fun' over the past month!"
