RuPaul confuses fans by wiping all social media
RuPaul deletes all of his past posts on Instagram and Twitter without explanation, leaving fans confused.

RuPaul has sparked a frenzy of speculation online by deleting his entire social media history overnight.

The Drag Race maestro began by deleting old Instagram pictures one by one and then wiped his entire Twitter account.

The 59-year-old had not been active on social media for some time and the reason for the removal of his previous posts was not immediately clear.

The move came on the night that the newest spinoff in the franchise, Canada's Drag Race, premiered - although the two events are unlikely to be linked.

Fans soon spotted that season 10 runner-up Kameron Michaels also wiped his Instagram and Twitter accounts around about the same time as Ru.

With production on Drag Race suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic, RuPaul is said to have spent the last few months enjoying downtime in the US - although he is expected back in the UK some time soon to complete work on the second season of Drag Race UK.
