Nick Carter's lawyer claps back at "outrageous claims" made in the new documentary Fallen Idols: Nick and Aaron Carter.

Lawyers for Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter have hit out at "outrageous claims" made in the new series Fallen Idols: Nick and Aaron Carter.

The documentary - released earlier this week - features accounts from three women who allege that the singer, now 44, sexually assaulted them at the height of the five-piece boyband's fame.

Carter, who is married with three children, denied requests to be interviewed for the show but has repeatedly insisted that all accusations against him are false.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, his lawyer Dale Hayes Jr said: "These are exactly the same outrageous claims that led us to sue this gang of conspirators

"Those cases are working their way through the legal system now, and, based on both the initial court rulings and the overwhelming evidence, we have every belief that we will prevail and hold them accountable for spreading these falsehoods."
