HRVY confirmed for Strictly Come Dancing

YouTube star HRVY is officially confirmed for this year's edition of Strictly Come Dancing.

YouTube star HRVY has been named as the 11th contestant taking part in this year's Strictly Come Dancing.

The 21-year-old - real name Harvey Leigh Cantwell - is an aspiring popstar with a social media following of more than 10 million people, while his audio and video content has registered a combined 1 billion streams to date.

Speaking about joining the show, HRVY said: "Being on Strictly is going to be such an amazing experience and I'm so thankful to be taking part this year.

"I think my mum is more excited that she'll be able to see me every Saturday night now."

Other confirmed names in the lineup for the show, which starts in October, include boxer Nicola Adams, The Wanted singer Max George, Radio 1 DJ Clara Amfo and comedian Caroline Quentin.

The 12th - and potentially final - contestant is rumoured to be former home secretary Jacqui Smith.
