Love Island narrator Iain Stirling set for Strictly Come Dancing?

Love Island narrator Iain Stirling is tipped to appear on this year's edition of Strictly Come Dancing.

Love Island narrator Iain Stirling is reportedly in the frame to appear on this year's edition of Strictly Come Dancing.

The 32-year-old has found himself with a lot of spare time on his hands after this summer and next winter's editions of the ITV2 reality show were cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Strictly is still going ahead, however, and news of Love Island's axe has led to him being tipped to join the lineup.

"Fans love Iain as the voice of Love Island," said a spokesperson for Ladbrokes, who have given him odds of 7/2 to appear. "But without that taking place this summer fans are really hoping they get to see the Scot on the Strictly dancefloor instead."

Stirling's partner Laura Whitmore - the new main presenter of Love Island - competed in the 2016 edition of the show, finishing in ninth place.
