Rita Ora is reportedly on board to return as a judge for the new series of The Masked Singer.
The singer has been out of the country since breaking coronavirus rules late last year - holding a birthday party with 30 friends at a time when the UK was in lockdown.
Ora was replaced by Oti Mabuse on spinoff show The Masked Dancer earlier this year, sparking speculation that she could also be dropped from the main show, but according to The Sun, she has now been confirmed to return.
"She loves doing the show and though she has set up a new life in LA, she was determined to still take part," a source told the newspaper.
"She has been out of the UK for the whole of 2021 but she won't be back for long because at the moment the trip is only scheduled for a fortnight.
"There will be strict COVID rules on set but she's hoping to see some family and friends while she's here. It's really important to her.
"The events of last year very much tainted the UK for her. She sees this as a working trip. LA is her home now."
The new series of The Masked Singer is expected to be filmed later this month for broadcast in the new year. body check tags ::
