Ed Gamble is to host a new podcast series called The Traitors: Uncloaked to accompany the new series.

The BBC has confirmed the launch of a new companion podcast show The Traitors: Uncloaked to accompany the next series of the show.

The reality TV hit returns for a second run in January 2024 following a successful first series on BBC One last year, with over 5m viewers tuning in.

The podcast - hosted by comedian Ed Gamble - will feature the banished and murdered contestants giving their first interviews and reacting to the identities of the Traitors, alongside appearances from celebrity guests.

Uncloaked has been developed as a "visualised podcast", with new episodes going out on BBC Two and iPlayer after each episode of the main show finishes.

"The first series of The Traitors was my absolute obsession, and I cannot wait to delve deep into series 2 and dissect all the twists and turns it has to offer," said Gamble. "It goes without saying that I am 100% faithful."

Extended audio-only versions of Uncloaked, featuring extra guests and analysis, will be released via BBC Sounds.
