Gemma Collins has been unveiled as the new brand ambassador for budget airline Wizz Air.

The 39-year-old former TOWIE star is to feature in a new campaign encouraging Brits to make the most of coronavirus rule relaxations and take a cheap flight aboard.

Sharing a mock snap of a GC-branded airplane on Instagram, she wrote: "This is the GC here !! Welcome on board BABY !! LETS GO !!! Don't forget your masks and who wants Prosecco ! There's only one way to travel !!! WIZZ AIR ✈️ ENJOY ✈️"

The Hungarian airline teased the same image on its own account alongside the caption: "The new @gemmacollins1 livery. May be coming soon to an airport near you."

The GC has had an eventful lockdown, purchasing a new house, losing three stone in weight and splitting from her on-off boyfriend James Argent.
