The penultimate episode in the current series of Line of Duty drew the show's record overnight audience last night.
Early ratings figures show that the episode averaged a mammoth 10.97 million viewers - a 51.7% share of the audience - for BBC One in the 9pm hour, beating the 9.92m record set just last week.
Overnight ratings take into account viewers who have watched a programme live or on a same-day delay before the 2am cutoff.
Consolidated seven-day ratings from BARB have shown that the current series is averaging more than 12.5 million viewers, while the consolidated 28-day figure for the first episode of the series has come in at a huge 15.2 million viewers.
BBC One also enjoyed success on Sunday with the latest episode of Call The Midwife, which averaged 7.25m (39%), roughly level with last week's series opener.
The sixth series of Line of Duty concludes Sunday at 9pm on BBC One.
