The BBC is reportedly not likely to commission a third series of Mary Berry's Best Home Cook.

The competition format, hosted by Claudia Winkleman, sees amateur home cooks battle it out to present the best versions of classic family dishes.

The second series drew a respectable average of 3.6 million viewers on BBC One last year - a rise from 3 million for the first - but according to Broadcast, the show is "in the process" of being reviewed and is "unlikely" to return.

A celebrity version, recorded during lockdown last year and broadcast in January, is said to be "more likely to continue", with a decision expected soon.

That series averaged 4 million across eight episodes and was won by former shadow chancellor Ed Balls.
