The BBC has confirmed that Gordon Ramsay's Future Food Stars has been recommissioned for a second series.
In the show, in a format similar to The Apprentice, the renowned chef puts 12 aspiring food and drink entrepreneurs through their paces in weekly challenges in a bid to secure his £150,000 investment into their business.
The second series will feature tasks such as creating and selling pizzas, running drag brunches, coming up with recipes for food magazines and even running Ramsay's own restaurants.
"My expectations are high for series two," said Ramsay, who devised the format. "These guys should have seen the first Future Food Stars series so they should be more prepared for how to impress me.
"The contenders are great and viewers will pick favourites and will them on to win."
BBC entertainment head Kalpna Patel-Knight added: "Gordon Ramsay returns! A dozen more culinary contestants travel across the UK to take part in exciting challenges in a bid to win a career changing investment from Gordon himself.

The new series has already been filmed and will air on BBC One and iPlayer later this year.
