ITV announces a new documentary following the trial of Ghislaine Maxwell, the notorious associate of the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

ITV has commissioned a documentary about Ghislaine Maxwell ahead of her trial for child sex grooming.

The 59-year-old British socialite stands charged of procuring underage victims for her friend Jeffrey Epstein, a well-connected financier who took his own life in prison over two years ago.

Maxwell, who has been imprisoned in New York for over a year, strongly denies the accusations against her and will face trial beginning November 29.

The ITV documentary will follow all aspects of the trial and feature exclusive interviews with alleged victims, Maxwell's siblings, staff, friends, lawyers and investigators.

Provisionally titled Ghislaine, the documentary will be presented by Good Morning Britain's Ranvir Singh and air after the trial concludes.
