James Argent says that he would "love" to take part in Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins after losing 14 stone.

James Argent has revealed that he is keen to appear on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins following his mammoth weight loss.

The former TOWIE star has shed 14 stone over the last 18 months as a result of life-saving gastric surgery combined with a new more active lifestyle.

"Celebrity SAS, I'd love to do that one day. I think that would be a great show for me," he told The Sun.

"Joey Essex is one of my best friends. I actually watched the series with him when it went out and he did really well. I was super, super proud of him."

He added: "I think a lot of the SAS is all about stories of people that have been through a lot and made it through to the other side.

"I think the fact that I've battled with addiction and I kind of got through that and I battled with an eating disorder and I've got through that.

"The fact I was 27 stone, now I'm 13 stone, and I'm actually fit and healthy, and I feel like I'd be able to actually shock people and do pretty well on it, maybe I'll be considered next time. That would be great."

Argent can currently be seen on E4's The Real Dirty Dancing.
