Johnny Vaughan and Denise Van Outen will present on TV together for the first time in almost 20 years.

Johnny Vaughan and Denise Van Outen will reunite next week for their first TV presenting gig together in almost 20 years.

The pair worked together on The Big Breakfast in its second heyday in the late '90s but notoriously fell out in a behind-the-scenes dispute about pay.

Last month the duo appeared as guests on Channel 4's Steph's Packed Lunch - albeit with Vaughan appearing by video link - and now they will return to the show this Tuesday as guest hosts.

"We speak all the time and we keep saying we need to do something together and this just feels like the perfect time for us. I can't wait, I'm so excited," said Van Outen.

"The last time we were actually on screen together it wasn't The Big Breakfast; we did a game show called Passport to Paradise and it was 20 years ago."

Vaughan added: "We've had Blur, there are rumours flowing about the Gallagher Brothers and now, we can now confirm, it's the big one, the 90s reunion you've been waiting for... Johnny and Denise, and I can't wait."

Steph's Packed Lunch airs weekdays from 12pm on Channel 4.
