Social media star Joshua Christie is reportedly one of the participants on the new series of Married At First Sight UK.

The show sees couples meet for the first time when they walk down the aisle before embarking upon a relationship and deciding if they are really matched.

The next series of the UK version is adopting the hugely-popular Australian format, running for around 20 episodes and following all eight couples as they live together in an apartment block following their respective weddings.

According to The Sun, Jordan - a rugby sevens player for Jamaica - ties the knot with Amy Christophers, a former glamour model who now works as a sports presenter.

"Joshua and Amy are incredibly good value and totally threw themselves into the experiment," a source told the newspaper.

"Amy is funny, sassy and always up for a laugh while Joshua has plenty of strong opinions.

"Viewers will be transfixed by their relationship and whether or not it will last the distance.

"They looked the perfect match on paper and looked great together, so the signs were nothing but promising."

The new series starts on E4 in September. body check tags ::
