BBC Three commissions a second series of fly-on-the-wall doc Meet The Khans as well as a new cookery show.

BBC Three has renewed Meet The Khans for a second, 10-part series.

The show is a fly-on-the-wall doc following the daily life of boxer-turned-businessman Amir Khan and his wife Faryal as they raise their young family in Bolton.

The first series drew 6 million requests on iPlayer when it was released earlier this year and filming on the second has now been underway for a couple of months.

The couple said in a statement: "We're excited about the new series - you'll have to wait and see what's next for us!"

Meanwhile, BBC Three has also commissioned a new cookery competition series, Hungry For It, hosted by Stacey Dooley and featuring Big Zuu as a mentor.

The format involves 10 young amateur cooks moving into a house together and then competing in challenges in a pop-up restaurant and a street food stall setting.

The eight-part series is expected to play out when BBC Three returns as a linear TV channel next January.
