The Great British Bake Off's Prue Leith is to document the transformation of her two-acre garden for a new Channel 4 series.
The 81-year-old has decided to finally move in with her husband of five years, John Playfair, as they downsize and relocate to a modern barn that they have designed together.
The show, Prue's Great Garden Plot, will follow the couple as they transform the two-acre plot around the barn - currently blighted by rubble and overgrown vegetation - into a picture-perfect oasis.
"I'm no Monty Don but I've been gardening for 45 years and just love it," said Leith.
"But this garden has to be manageable by a pair of oldies none too keen on kneeling, bending or humping heavy gear.
"So, it's a robot for the lawn, troughs for the veg, and pots on the terrace. And a fair few disasters!"
The four-part series will play out later in the year on Channel 4.
