Robbie Williams reveals that he has been working on ideas for TV shows, including a comedy which he has written himself.

Robbie Williams has revealed that he has been developing ideas for new TV shows - including a comedy series which he has written himself.

Talking to The Mirror, the singer said that he hopes the mystery show will go into production next year alongside a new talent show format that could rival his old friend Simon Cowell's Britain's Got Talent.

"I've written a TV show which is a dark comedy," he told the newspaper.

"And I've come up with this idea for a talent show that's sort of never been seen before, in a different way."

Discussing his other ongoing projects, he added: "I'm currently drawing and making these funny cartoons... well, I think they're funny – I've got six or seven hundred of them. And I had my first exhibition at Sotheby's."

Next month Williams will kick off the European leg of his XXV tour - marking his 25 years as a solo artist - and is due to play a warm-up gig in Qatar, host of the World Cup, this Thursday.
