Sky Sports has confirmed that football magazine show Soccer AM will come to an end in a matter of weeks.
The Saturday morning show - currently hosted by John Fendley and Jimmy Bullard - has been part of the Sky schedules for the last 28 years.
According to The Sun, execs informed disappointed staff of the decision yesterday, leaving some of them "raging".
A Sky Sports spokesperson said: "Soccer AM has played an important role in our coverage of football for the past three decades, and we continually adapt to the evolving needs of our customers.
"We now go into a period of consultation to discuss the proposed changes with our people. We are unable to provide more detail while these consultations are underway."
The final edition is scheduled for broadcast on Saturday, May 27 - the day before the final day of the Premier League season.
